She has been teaching yoga since 2004 in various hotels on the Island and still is ( to name a few: Evason Six Senses Spa, the Vijiit Resort, Meridien Yacht Club, The Raja, Villa Zolitude, Villa Salika ) in Phuket. She also gives yoga lessons at her house, in the area of Rawai, Phuket, where there is an opened air yoga room, mainly for very small groups, from 3 to maximum 5 people and she is also giving yoga lessons at the Phuket Academy of Dance, Chalong. She is also available for private lessons.

She started studying yoga in Phuket with an American woman and soon realized the importance of this ancient art as a tool for a better way of living. Originally from Italy, she travelled a lot as working for a tour operator, spending several months living in different countries and learning different cultures.

She was particularly attracted to Asia countries…favorite places are Bali, Sri Lanka, Maldives and India, which gave her unforgettable experiences. She went to India first to learn about an Indian Master, a Holy Man, later on she came to Thailand where she decided to stay, on the island of Phuket. Olivia is grateful to this land which also gave her the gift of her daughter Benedetta. Soon there was the need to go to India again and learn more about yoga. Olivia and her lovely daughter went to Mysore and stayed there for a few months to obtain a certificate to be a yoga instructor and be able to teach in Thailand.

She studied at the Mandala yogashala where Shashadri was teaching. Her first approach to yoga was the Ashtanga sequence, one with very dynamic form of moving from one posture to the other. Later on she felt the need to move at her own pace, following her inner voice and inspiration when choosing the positions (Asanas).

Why Holy Via?

Holy Guy

The name "Holy Via" is my trademark.....It sounds like my name....i like it because yoga is also holy and Via, means road or path in italian; yoga is a holy path if you wish so......
